Adult Workshop: Build Your Own Water Barrel

Learn about and take home your own rain barrel! The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) joins us for this water-saving workshop.

The benefits of using rain barrels include diverting water from storm drain systems which reduces flooding, conserving water for use in the garden, protecting waterways from stormwater runoff pollution, and saving money on your water bills! You can hook up your rain barrel to your downspout and save 55 gallons of water each time it rains to use on your own gardens. All materials and instruction are included with your registration.

This workshop will be led by Toni Heater from NJDEP Project WET
