About the Event


Learning and Growing at Eastside Park is an opportunity for families with children to enjoy exploring the Learning Garden, connect with the natural world, and learn about the seasonal themes presented by City Green. At Learning and Growing you will find self-led learning stations, gardening activities, and also plenty of opportunities for free play and exploration! 


The theme for May is Down in the Dirt. Activities include:

  • Insect Scavenger Hunt

  • Explore the Vermicomposter

  • Mud Creations

  • Build Your Own Bug
