City Green, a nonprofit farming and gardening organization based in Clifton, has announced the annual Passaic County Daffodil Project. On November 5th, 6th, and 9th, City Green invites community members to join them in planting thousands of daffodil bulbs in parks across Passaic, Paterson, and Clifton.
On November 5th and 6th from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm, City Green will be partnering with the City of Passaic to plant daffodil bulbs at Armory Park, Dignity House, Christopher Columbus Park, Third Ward Memorial Park, and City Hall. Community members are invited to attend and are encouraged to register in advance here.
On November 9th, City Green will be hosting a special volunteer session at the Farm Eco-Center (171 Grove Street, Clifton) from 9:30 am - 12:00 pm to plant daffodil bulbs throughout City Green’s native gardens. Volunteers ages 13+ are invited to attend and are encouraged to register in advance here.
Also on November 9th, City Green invites members of the Paterson community to join them at Lou Costello Park in Paterson (Cianci & Ellison St) from 2:30 pm - 4:00 pm to plant over 1,000 bulbs throughout the newly renovated park. Volunteers of all ages are invited to attend and are encouraged to register in advance here.
The Passaic County Daffodil Project is made possible by City Green and Passaic County’s Dig In! Community Garden program. Dig In! is generously funded by the Passaic County Board of Chosen Commissioners.
